Ahmed Ramadan

Ahmed Ramadan is a lawyer in corporate, civil and commercial matters. He read law at Ain Shams University, holds a master's in private law, and is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.

On the corporate side he oversees company formation and keeps companies compliant with Egyptian companies law once they are running. He drafts the resolutions of general assemblies and boards of directors, advises businesses on a continuing basis, and handles their filings before the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and the commercial registry.

In court he represents clients at every level in civil, commercial, administrative and labour disputes, and drafts the papers a case is argued on: statements of claim, memoranda and defences, appeals and petitions. He also drafts and reviews commercial contracts, and does the research behind a case — the law and the courts' earlier rulings — before its strategy is set.
